1 Corinthians 15:1-8
2001 first edition
(later editions are identical.)
15:1 Now I make known to you*, brothers [and sisters], the Gospel, the one I have proclaimed to you*, which also you* received, in which also you* have stood,
15:2 through which also you* are saved, if you* hold fast to which word [or, that word which] I proclaimed the Gospel to you*, unless you* believed thoughtlessly [or, without reason].
15:3 For I handed down [or, delivered] to you* first what also I received, that Christ died on behalf of our sins according to the Scriptures,
15:4 and that He was buried, and that He had been raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
15:5 and that He appeared to Cephas [i.e. Peter], then to the twelve.
15:6 Afterwards, He appeared to over five hundred brothers [and sisters] at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, but some also fell asleep [fig., have died].
15:7 Afterwards, He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
15:8 But last of all, as though to the [one] untimely born, He appeared also to me.
