Genesis 12:1-5
The Abrahamic Covenant
1The LORD had told Abram, “Leave this country of Ur with your family and relatives, and I will show you where to go. {58 Call-Prayer, Gen. 12:1; Gal. 1:15} 2I will make you the father of a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous. {62 Children of Promise-Prayer, Gal. 3:28}
3I will bless anyone who blesses you and curse anyone who curses you. Everyone will be blessed because of you.” {387 Protection-Prayer, Isa. 43:2, 3}
4When Abram left his country, taking Lot with him, he was 75 years old. {327 Obedient-Prayer, Col. 2:6} 5Abram took Sarai and Lot and all their belongings and servants they had acquired in Haran, and they moved to Canaan.

A Prayer Recognizing God’s Protective Relationship to You

2“Why buy food that does you no good? Why work for something that doesn’t satisfy? Listen to Me, and I’ll help your soul enjoy genuine spiritual food. 3Listen carefully because this affects your spiritual life. I will make with you an eternal agreement of loyal love that I promised to David.
Mark 1:9-13
9Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan River. {30 Baptized-Praying, Gal. 3:26, 27; Col. 2:11-12} 10Immediately coming out of the water, He saw heaven open and the Spirit descended on Him like a dove. 11He heard a voice from heaven, “You are My Son whom I love. The Temptation of Jesus
12Immediately, the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness. {224 Holy Spirit-Praying, Jude 20} 13Jesus fasted 40 days {476 Temptation-Victory Prayer, Luke 22:40} and afterward He was tempted by satan. He was with the wild animals and the angels took care of Him. {111 Desert-Praying, Mark 1:12}
John 1:1-5
The Preincarnate Word
1I worship Jesus the Word, who is from the beginning; Jesus the Word tells me all about You, my heavenly Father. {192 God-Recognition Prayer, Eph. 3:20-21} 2The Word was face to face with You throughout eternity because Jesus is God.
3And without Jesus nothing was created. Jesus does all the things that You, my heavenly Father, will do. {93 Creation-Inspired Worship, Ps. 19:1, 2} 4Jesus has all life in Himself and gives life to all His creation. {281 Life-Receiving Prayer, John 10:10} 5Jesus is the life of God who is the Light to all who are lost in a dark, forbidding world. Jesus shines in the hostile darkness, but the darkness doesn’t even know He exists. {283 Light-Praying, 1 John 1:7}
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
The Resurrection of Christ
1Lord, Paul reminded the Corinthians that the content of the gospel is the same good news he preached to them. They received it and became firmly established in it. {145 Evangelistic-Praying, Acts 4:31} 2This is the gospel that saved them unless they never originally believed it. {289 Lordship Salvation-Prayer, Acts 9:6}
3The first aspect of the gospel is that Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures teach. {260 Jesus’ Suffering Appreciation-Prayer, Heb. 2:9-10, 18} 4He was buried and after three days He arose just as the Scriptures predicted. {3 Abiding in Scripture-Prayer, John 15:7}
The Appearance on a Mountain
5He was seen by Peter, then by the twelve, 6and next He appeared to five hundred at the same time. Many are still alive and will attest to having seen Him. {99 Death-Facing Prayer, Ps. 88:3} 7Then He appeared to James, and later to all the apostles, 8and finally He appeared to Paul. {405 Resurrection-Inspired Praying, 1 Cor. 15:50}
