Mark 1:9-13
9And it came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10And ascending from the water, immediately He saw the heavens rending, and the Spirit as a dove descdending upon Him. 11And a voice came out of the heavens, "You are My Beloved Son; in You I delight."
12And immediately the spirit cast Him into the desert. 13And while in the desert He was with wild beasts for forty days; and the adversary tempted him, but the angels ministered to Him.
John 1:1-5
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a God. 2In the beginning This Word was with God. 3All was done through It, and without It not even one thing was done. 4In It was life, and the life was the light of men. 5And the Light shone in darkness apprehended It not.
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
1And now brethren, again I declare to you the glad tidings, which I before announced to you, which you received and in which you have stood, 2through which you also are being saved if you retain a certain word I announced as glad tidings to you, unless you believed inconsiderately. 3For among the first things I delivered to you was what I also received, that the Anointed died on behalf of our sins according to the writings, 4and that He was buried, and that He was raised the third day according to the writings, 5and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the rest of the twelve. 6After that He was seen by about five hundred brethren at one time of whom the greater number remain, but some had fallen asleep. 7Then after that He was seen by James then by all the apostles. 8And last of all He was seen by me, just as if I were born before due time.
