Genesis 12:1-5

1 NOW the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father's house, unto a land that I will show you:
2 And I will make of you a great Nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them who bless you, and curse him who curses you: and in you shall all families of the Earth be blessed.
4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him;; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

Psalm 23

1 THE LORD is My shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes Me to lie down in green pastures: He leads Me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth My soul: He leads Me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for You are with Me; Your rod and Your staff they comfort Me.
5 You prepare a table before Me in the presence of My enemies: You anoint My head with oil; My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow Me all the days of My life: and I will dwell in the House of the LORD for ever.

Isaiah 55:1-3

1 HO, every one who thirsts, come ye to the waters, and he who has no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Wherefore do you spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfies not? hearken diligently unto Me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto Me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Mark 1:9-13

9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.
10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the Heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon Him:
11 And there came a Voice from Heaven, saying, You are My Beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased.
12 And immediately the Spirit driveth Him into the wilderness.
13 And He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the Angels ministered unto Him.

John 1:1-5

1 IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In Him was Life; and the Life was the Light of men.
5 And the Light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 3:16

Bible text is in black; Swaggart's commentary is printed in red italics.

16 For God so loved the world (presents the God kind of love), that He gave His Only Begotten Son (gave Him up to the Cross, for that's what it took to redeem humanity), that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life.

1 Corinthians 15:1-8

1 MOREOVER, Brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I Preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand;
2 By which also you are saved, if ye keep in memory what I Preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures;
4 And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures:
5 And that He was seen of Cephas, then of the Twelve:
6 After that, He was seen of above five hundred Brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7 After that, He was seen of James; then of all the Apostles.
8 And last of all He was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
