Second Letter to Corinth ch. 15:1-9 (= 1 Corinthians 15)
1 I recall to you, brothers, the Gospel which I preached to you,
which also you received, in which also you stand firm,
2 through which also you are being saved – the very terms in which I preached it to you,
presuming you hold it fast – unless it be that your faith was all to no purpose.
3 I delivered to you primarily the tradition which I had also received:
Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and was buried,
4 and He has been raised on the third day according to the Scriptures;
5/6 and He appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve; next He appeared
to upwards of five hundred brothers all at once, of whom the greater number
remain to this day while some have gone to their rest;
7 next He appeared to James, then to all the Apostles.
8 Last of all, He appeared also to me, as it were, the poor weakling.
9 For I am the least of the Apostles; I am not fit to be called an Apostle,
inasmuch as I persecuted the Church of God.
