John 1:1-5

In the beginning WAS THE WORD, who is Jesus, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the very beginning with God. Everything in the universe was created by Him. He is the creative Force behind everything that has been created. In Him is life and this life is the Light of men. His light came to shine in the darkness of this world, but the dark minds of men did not understand Him.
