Psalm 22
A psalm of David.
1 THE LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.
2 In green pastures he makes me a home, he nourishes me beside the still water.
3 He uplifts my soul, he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Though I walk in the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest me a table in my persecutors' presence, thou anointest my head with oil, and the cup thou givest me to drinkâhow supremely good it is!
6 And thy mercy shall pursue me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the Lord's house for the length of my days.
