Genesis XLIX

8 Judah, thee thy brethren shall praise: thy hand is in the neck of thine enemies; thy father's sons shall prostrate themselves before thee.

9 A young lion is Judah: from the prey, my son, thou goest up: he stooped down, he crouched as a lion, and as a fierce lioness; who shall rouse him?

10 The rod shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and his be the obedience of peoples.

11 Binding unto the vine his foal, and to the vine branch the son of his she ass; he washed in wine his attire, and in the blood of grapes his raiment:

12 His eyes are red from wine, and the whiteness of his teeth is with milk.

Exodus III

13 And Moses said unto God, Behold when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you: and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

14 And God said unto Moses, I M THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Eternal, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever and this is my memorial unto all generations.

Deuteronomy XXXIII

26 There is none unto God, O Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heavens in thy help, and in his exellency on the sky.

27 The God of ancient times is thy refuge, and underneath are everlasting arms: and he shall drive away the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Exterminate!

28 Israel dwelled in safety: the fountain of Jacob is solitary upon a land of corn and must; also his heavens shall drop down dew.

29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Eternal, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy exellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.
