Psalm 50
Psalm of Asaph.
1 Yahweh God, the Mighty One, has spoken,
and summoned the world
from sunrise to sunset.
2 God shines forth from Zion,
the perfection of beauty.
3 Our God comes and will not be silent;
a fire devours ahead of him,
a storm rages around him.
4 He summons the heavens above,
and the earth below to judgement.
5 “Gather my faithful to me,
who sealed my covenant by sacrifice.“
6 The heavens declare his justice,
for God himself is judge.
7 “Listen, my people, as I speak;
Israel, hear the charges against you,
for I am God, your God.“
Psalm 117
1 Praise Yahweh, all you nations;
extol him, all you peoples.
2 For great is his faithful love,
and the truth of the Lord lasts for ever.
