Deuteronomy 33

26 “There is none like God, Jeshurun,
who rides on the heavens for your help,
in his excellency on the skies.
27 The eternal God is your dwelling place.
Underneath are the everlasting arms.
He thrusts out the enemy from before you,
and said, `Destroy!´
28 Israel dwells in safety; the fountain of Jacob alone,
in a land of grain and new wine.
Yes, his heavens drop down dew.
29 You are happy, Israel!
Who is like you, a people saved by Jehovah,
the shield of your help,
the sword of your excellency?
Your enemies will submit themselves to you.
You will tread on their high places.“

Psalm 50

1 A Psalm by Asaph
The Mighty One, God, Jehovah, speaks,
and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset.
2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty,
God shines out.
3 Our God comes, and does not keep silent.
A fire devours before him.
It is very stormy around him.
4 He calls to the heavens above,
to the earth, that he may judge his people:
5 “Gather my saints together to me;
those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
6 The heavens shall declare his righteousness,
for God himself is judge.
Selah.
7 Hear, my people, and I will speak;
Israel, and I will testify against you.
I am God, your God.

Zechariah 6

9 Jehovah‘s word came to me, saying, 10 “Take from them of the captivity, even from Heldai, from Tobijah, and from Jedaiah; and come the same day, and go int the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have come from Babylon.
11 Yes, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them on the head of Josua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest; 12 and speak to him, saying, ‘Jehovah of the armies says, “Behold, the man whose name is he Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build Jehovah´s temple; 13 even he shall build Jehovah´s temple; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
14 The crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen, the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in Jehovah´s temple; and you shall know that Jehovah of Armies has sent me to you. This will happen, if you will diligently obey Jehovah your God´s voice.“´“

Matthew 1

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this; for after his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
19 Joseph, her husband, being a righteous man, and not willing to make her a public example, intended to put her away secretly.
20 But when he thought about theses things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don´t be afraid to take to yourself Mary, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
21 For she shall give birth to a son. You shall call his name Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.“
22 Now all this happened, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,
23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel;“ which is, being interpreted, “God with us.“

2 Timothy 3

3 For we were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But when the kindness of God, our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly, through Jesus Christ our Savior; 7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
8 This saying is faithful, and concerning these things I desire that you affirm confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men; 9 but shun foolish questionings, genealogies, strife, and disputes about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
10 Avoid a schismatic man after the first and second warning; 11 knowing that such a one is perverted and sins, being self–condemned.

Revelation 12

7 There was war in the sky. Michael and his angels made war on the dragon. 8 They didn´t prevail, neither was a place found for him any more in heaven. 9 The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
10 I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ has come; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night. 11 They overcame him because of the Lamb´s blood, and because of the word of his testimony. 12 Therefore rejoice, heavens, and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has but a short time.“
