Mark 1:9-13
[9] IT CAME TO PASS in those :days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of :Galilee, and was baptized of John into the Jordan. [10] And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens rent asunder, and the Spirit as a dove descending upon him: [11] and a voice came out of the heavens, Thou art my :beloved :Son, in thee I am well pleased.
[12] And straightway the Spirit driveth him forth into the wilderness. [13] And he was in the wilderness forty days tempted of :Satan; and he was with the beasts; and the angels ministered to him.
John 1:1-5
IN THE BEGINNING was the Word, and the Word was with :God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with :God. [3] All things became1 through him; and without him nothing became that had become. [4] In him was life; and the life vas the light of :men. [5] And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness apprehended it not.

1 Corinthians 15:1-8
[1] Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also ye received, in which also ye stand, [2] by which also ye are saved, if ye hold fast to the word which I preached to you, except ye believed without cause. [3] For I delivered to you among first things what also I received: that Christ died for our :sins according to the scriptures; [4] and that he was buried; and that he hath been raised on the third :day according to the scriptures; [5] and that he was seen of Cephas; then of the twelve; [6] then he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the more part remain until now, but some are fallen asleep; [7] then he was seen of James; then of all the apostles; [8] and last of all, as of the child un-timely born, he was seen of me also.
