Mark 1:9-13
9Now at that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
10And immediately on coming out of the water, he saw the heavens rent asunder, and the SPIRIT descending upon him, like as it were a dove.
11And a voice from Heaven, said, "Thou are My dearly beloved Son, in whom I delight!"
12And at once he was impelled by the SPIRIT to go into the desert.
13And he remained there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by the adversary, and among the wild beasts; and angels ministered unto him.
John 1:1-5
1In original being the Word, or GOD-Idea existed; and the GOD-Idea existed in at-one-ment with GOD; and the GOD-Idea was GOD-manifest.
2The same existed in original being, at-one with GOD.
3All things came into being in this GOD-conception, and apart from it came not anything into being that came into being.
4In the GOD-Idea Life, GOD, was manifest, and Life, GOD was the Light of men.
5And the Light shineth in darkness; but the darkness comprehendeth it not.
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
1Moreover, brethren, let me remind you of the Glad Tidings which I proclaimed to you, which ye have received, and in which ye have stood.
2through which also ye are being saved,if ye keep in mind what I proclaimed to you,-unless indeed ye have believed in vain.
3For I delivered unto you, first of all, that which also I received,-that Christ Jesus died on behalf of our sins, according to the Scriptures;
4and that he was buried; and that he rose again the third day according to the Scripture;
5and that he was seen by Cephas, and then by the twelve apostles.
6After that he was seen by about five hundren brethren at one time; of whom the greater number are still living, but some have fallen asleep.
7After that, he was seen by James; then by all the Apostles;
8and last of all, he was seen by me also, as by one of untimely birth;
