Matthew 16 (1st, 1997)

13 And Jesus going into the area of Caesarea–Philippi asked His disciples saying, “Whom do men say that the Son of man is?“
14 And they said, “Indeed they (say) John the Baptist, others Elijah, others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.“
15 He says to them, “But whom do you say I am?“
16 And Simon Peter answering said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.“
17 And Jesus answering said to him, “Blessed are you Simon Bar–Jonah, because flesh and blod did not reveal (this) to you but My Father Who (is) in heaven.
18 “And I also say to you that you are Peter and upon this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not be able to withstand it.
19 “I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.“
20 Then He instructed His disciples that they tell no one that He is the Christ.

Ephesians 2 (1st, 1997)

1And you being dead in your trespasses and sins,
2 in which then you walked according to the age of ths world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit now working in the sons of disobedience;
3 among whom we all also then directed our conduct in the lusts of our flesh, doing the will of the flesh and of the thoughts, and were by nature children of wrath as also the rest.
4 But God being rich in mercy, on account of His manifold love with which He loved us,
5 and we being dead in our trespasses, He made us alive in the Christ [you have been saved by grace],
6 and He raised (us) up together and seated (us) together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,
7 in order that in the coming ages He might show forth the exceeding riches of His grace in kindness for us in Christ jesus.
8 For by His grace you have been saved through faith; and this not of you; it is the gift of God;
9 not of works in order that no one should boast.
10 For we are His workmanshipª , having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God before prepared in order that we should walk in them.

Revelation 1 (1st, 1997)

10 I was in the spirit on the Lord´s Day, and I heard behind me a great voice as a trumpet
11 saying, “What you see write in a book, and send to the seven churches, unto Ephesus and unto Smyrna
and unto Pergamos and unto Thyatira and unto Sardis and unto Philadelphia and unto Laodicea.“
12 And I turned to see the voice which was speaking with me, and having turned I saw seven golden lampstands,
13 and in the midst of the lampstands (One) like (the) son of man having been clothed down to His feet, and being girded around His breasts with a golden girdle;
14 and His head and His hair were white as white wool, as snow, and His eyes as a flame of fire;
15 and His feet like burnished brass as having been fired in a furnace, and His voice as the voice of many waters,
16 and having in His right hand seven stars, and coming out of His mouth a sharp two–edged sword,
and His countenance as the sun shines in its power.
17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead; and He placed His right hand upon me saying,
“Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last.
18 “and the living One, and I was dead and behold, I am living forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and Hades.“

Mark 1:9-13 (2nd, 1998)

9And it happened in those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized in the Jordan by John.
10And immediately, coming up out of the water, He saw the heavens being divided and the Spirit as a dove descending upon Him;
11and a voice came out of the heavens, "You are My beloved Son, in You I am well pleased.
12And immediately the Spirit took him out into the wilderness.
13And He was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan, and was with wild beasts, and the angels were ministering to Him.

John 1:1-5 (2nd, 1998)

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2This one was in the beginning with God.
3All things became through Him, and apart from Him not one (thing) became that has become.
4In Him was life, and the life was the light of men;
5and the light shines in darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

1 Corinthians 15:1-8 (2nd, 1998)

1Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you have stood.
2through which also you were saved, if you hold firmly to what word I preached to you, except if you did not believe uselessly.
3For I delivered to you in the first (place), which also you received, that Christ died on behalf of our sins according to the Scriptures,
4and that He was buried, and that He rose on the third day according to the Scriptures,
5and that He was seen by Cephas, then to the twelve;
6afterward He was seen by over five hundred brethren at one time, the majority of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep;
7afterward He was seen by James, then to all the apostles;
8and last of all as one untimely born, He was seen by me also.
