Luke 24 (NT, Third Edition)
44 And He said to them, “These are the messages I told you while I was still with you, that it is necessary for everything to be fulfilled that has been written about Me in the Torah of Moses and in the Prophets and in the Psalms.
45 The He opened their minds and they understood the scriptures:
46 and He said to them that “Thus it has been written that the Messiah would suffer (Is 53:5, et al.) and be raised from the dead on the third day (Ho 6:2), 47 and repentance would be preached in His name for forgiveness of sins for all the heathens. Beginning from Jerusalem 48 you are witnesses of these things.
49 Then, behold, I, Myself, am sending My Father´s promise upon you: but you must now stay in the city until you would be clothed in power from on high.“
50And he lead them outside as far as Bethany, then as He raised His hands He blessed them, 51 And it happend while He was blessing them, He went away from them, and He was being brought up into the sky. 52 And after they paid homage to Him they returned to Jerusalem with great joy 53 and they were constantly in the temple praising God.
2 Corinthians 5 (NT, Third Edition)
16This, from now on, we know no one according to the flesh: if then we had known the Messiah according to the flesh, nevertheless now we no longer know.
17 So if someone is ij Messiah, he is a new creation: the old things passed away, behold he has become new.
18 And all things are from God, The One Who reconciled us to Himself through Messiah and Who gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19because God was reconciling the universe to Himself by means of Messiah, since He does not reckon their transgressions to them, and becaus He placed in us the message of reconciliation.
20Therefore we are ambassadors on behalf of Messiah as God exhorts through us: we beg, in the name of Messiah, That you must immediately be reconciled to God.
21 He made the One Who did not know sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we ourselves would know the righteousness of God by means of Him.
Revelation 18 (NT, Third Edition)
1After these things I saw another angel, who had great authority, descending from heaven, and the earth was given light by his glory.
2And he cried out in a strong voice saying,
“She has fallen, Babylon the Great has fallen (Is 21:9, Jr 51:8)
and she has become a dwelling place of demons
and a prison of every unclean spirit
and a prison of every unclean bird
and a prison of every unclean and hated beast,
(Is 13:21 34:11, Jr 50:39, Bar 4:35)
3 because all the nations have drunk from the wine
of the passion of her idolatry (Is 23:17, Jr 51:7)
and the kings of the earth committed adultery with her
and the merchants of the earth became wealthy
from the power of her excessive wealth.“
4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying,
“My people, you must immediately come out of her
(Is 48:20, 52:11, Jr 50:8, 51:6,9,45)
so that you would not share her sins,
and so that you would not take any of her plagues,
5 because her sins reached as far as heaven (Gn 18:20,21, Jr 51:9)
and God remembered her crimes.
6 You must now reward her as she also rewarded (Ps 137:8, Jr 50:15,29)
and you must immediately pay back double to her according to her deeds.
In the cup in which she mixed you must now mix double to her,
7 who did glory herself and live sensually,
You must now give so much torment and mourning to her.
Because in her heart she says that ‘ I sit as Queen
and I am not a widow
and I will never see mourning.´
8Because of this her plagues will come in one Day,
death and mourning and famine,
and she will be burnt up in fire, (Lv 21:9)
because the Lord God Almighty is the One
Who is judging her.“ (Is 47:7-9, Jr 50:34)
Genesis 6 (One New Man Bible)
1 And it was, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of the leaders saw the daughters of men, that they were fair and they took them for wifes of all whom they chose.
3 And the LORD said, “My spirit spirit will not forever struggle with man, since he is but flesh. And his days will be one hundred twenty years.
4 There were giants on the earth in those days and also after that, when the sons of the leaders came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, the same became mighty, macho, men who, from old, were men of bad reputation.
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was continually only bad. 6 And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him in His heart. 7And the LORD said, “I shall destroy man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth: man, beast, the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.
8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.
Ezekiel 28 (One New Man Bible)
11 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me saying, 12 Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre and say to him, Thus says Adonai, the LORD,
You are a seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
13 Have you been in Eden, the garden of God? Was every precious stone your covering, the sardius, topaz, the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the topaz, even gold? Was the workmanship of your drums and of your wind instruments in you? Were they prepared on the day you were created? (Rev 18:15)
14 Are you the anointed cherub that covers? And have I set you so? Were you on the holy mountain of God? Have you walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire?
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created until wickedness was found in you. 16 They have filled your midst with violence by the multitude of your merchandise, and you have sinned. Therefore I shall cast you as profane from the mountain of God and I shall destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness. I shall throw you to the ground, I shall lay you before kings, so they can behold you.
Psalm 75 (One New Man Bible)
1 To the chief musician; Al–Tashket, a psalm, a song of Asaf.
2 Unto You, O God, do we give thanks. Unto You do we give thanks, for Your name is near: people declare your wondrous works.
3 When I shall set the time, I shall judge uprightly.
4 The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved: I AM has established its pillars. Selah.
5 I said to the fools, Do not deal foolishly! And to the wicked, Do not lift up the horn! 6 Do not lift up your horn on high! Do not speak with a stiff neck, 7 for lifting up is not from the east or from the west or from the south.
8 But God is the Judge: He puts one down and lifts up another.
9 For there is a cup in the hand of the LORD and the wine is red, it is full of mixture and He pours out of the same, but all the wicked of the earth will wring them out and drink the dregs. (Rev. 14:10; 15:7; 16:19)
10 But I shall dclare forever; I shall sing praises to the God of Jacob.
11 I shall also cut off all the horns of the wicked; the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
__ Matthew 1 (One New Man Bible) __
18 And Y´shua Messiah was born in this manner. While his mother Miriam was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to have been made pregnant by the Holy Spirit. 19 And Joseph her husband, being righteous and not wanting to expose her publicly, wanted to secretly divorce her. 20 And when he was considering these things, behold an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream saying, “Joseph, son of David, you must not be afraid to take Miriam to yourself for your wife: for the One formed in her is by the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will give birth to a Son, and you will call his name Y´shua: for He will save His people from their sins.“ 22 And all this had happened so that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled, saying,
23 “Behold the virgin will be pregnant and will bear a son,
and they will call His name Emanuel.“ (Isa. 7:14)
__ 2 Timothy 3 / 4 (One New Man Bible) __
16 All scripture is God–inspired and useful for teaching, for reproof, restoration, for training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God would be able to meet all demands, since he has been equipped perfectly for every good work.
1 I am charging you before God and the Messiah Y´shua, the One Who is going to judge the living and the dead, at His appearance and in His kingdom: 2 you must now preach the Word, you must now be ready in season, out of season, you must now correct, you must now rebuke, you must now encourage, with great patience and every kind of instruction. 3 For there will be a time when sound teaching will not be listened to but they will heap up teachings according to their own desires in themselves, what their ears are itching to hear 4 and indeed they will turn their ears from the truth and they will turn aside to myths.. 5 But you must continually be sober in everything, you must now bear hardship patiently, you must now do the work of an evangelist, you must now fulfill your minstry.
__ Hebrews 10 (One New Man Bible) __
19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Holies by the blood of Y´shua, 20 a new and living Way which He dedicated to us, through the veil, that is, by His flesh, 21 so we have a great Priest in the House of God.
22 We should present ourselves with a true heart in full assurance of faith, since we have purified our hearts from a consciousness of evil, and have washed the body in clean water: (Ezek.36:25) 23 we should, without wavering, hold fast the confession of the hope, for the One Who promised is faithful, 24 and we should consider one another in provoking by love and good deeds, 25 not forsaking the assemblies of ourselves, as is custom for some, but exhorting, and so much more as you see the Day draw near.
