Mark 1:9-13
9 And it came about during those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized in the Jordan by John
10 And immediately while ascending out-of the water, He saw the heavens being divided, and the Spirit like a dove descending to Him.
11 And a voice came from the heavens – You are My beloved Son. With You I was well-pleased
12 And immediately the Spirit sends Him out into the wilderness.
13 And he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan
And He was with the wild-beasts
And the angels were ministering to Him
John 1:1-5
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God
2 This One was in the beginning with God
3 All things came-into-being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being which has come-into-being
4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of mankind
5 And the light is shining in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
1-2 Now I make-known to you, brothers, the good-news which I announced-as-good-news to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, through which you also are saved – if you are holding-on in that message I announced-as-good-news to you, unless you believed in-vain
3 For I delivered to you among the first things what I also received –
That Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures
4 And that He was buried
And that He has been raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures
5 And that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve
6 After that He appeared to over five-hundred brothers at-one-time, of whom the majority are remaining until now. But some fell-asleep.
7 After that He appeared to James, then to all the apostles
8 And last of all, as-if-indeed to the untimely-born one He appeared to me also
