The Song of Songs 8:5-7

Place me as a seal upon thy heart,

As a seal upon thy arm:

For love is strong as death,

Firm as the grave.

The darts of passion are darts of fire —

Furious flames

Many waters cannot quench, ¹

Nor streams devour.

If a man were to give all (his) substance, ²

It would be as nought. ³
