Mark 1:9-13
1:9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
1:10 And immediately as he came up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:
1:11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
1:12 And immediately the Spirit drove him into the wilderness.
1:13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to him.
John 1:1-5
1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
1:2 He was in the beginning with God.
1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was nothing made that was made.
1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
1:5 And the light shines in the darkness; and the darkness has not comprehended it.
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
15:1 Now, brethren, I would remind you of the gospel which I preached to you, which you have received, and in which you stand;
15:2 By which you are also saved, if you hold fast to what I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.
15:3 For I delivered to you as of first importance that which I received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
15:5 And that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve:
15:6 After that, he appeared to more than five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.
15:7 After that, he appeared to James; then to all the apostles.
15:8 And last of all he appeared to me also, as to one untimely born.
