Scroll of Esther 3
8 Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus:
"There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people
in all the provinces of your kingdom; and their laws are different from every other people;
nor do they keep the king's law: therefore, it is not in the king's interest to tolerate them.
9 If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed;
and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver into the hands of those in charge of the business,
to bring it into the king's treasuries.
10 Then the king took the ring from his hand, and gave it to Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite,
the Jew's enemy. 11 The king then said to Haman; "The silver is yours, and the people as well,
to do with them as it pleases you."
