Psalm XXIII

¹ Jehovah is my shepherd; therefore can I lack nothing:
² He maketh me to lie down in a green pasture,
and leadeth me beside the waters of comfort;
³ He refresheth my soul,
and bringeth me forth in the paths of righteousness
for His name‘s sake.
⁴ Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me;
⁵ Thou preparest a table for me in the face of mine enemies;
Thou hast anointed my head with oil, and my cup is full.
⁶ Thy lovingkindness and mercy shall follow me all the days
of my life, and I will dwell in the House of Jehovah for ever.
