Psalm 23
David’s Miz-mor
23.1 Ya-HoVaH my seer, I lack nothing. 23.2 He is making me lie down in green pastures. He is
leading me next to the still waters. 23.3 He is restoring my soul. He is leading me in the paths of
justice and right standing, for the sake of his Name - 23.4 yeah, even if I do walk through the Death’s
Shadow Valley, I will not be scared of evil, because you are with me. Your Rod and your staff are
comforting me. 23.5 You are preparing a table before my face, in front of those who hate me. You
are anointing my head with oil. My cup is running over. 23.6 For sure, goodness and mercy shall
follow me all the days of my life, and I shall live in Ya-HoVaH’s House forever.
Mark 1:9-13
1.9 So in those days, Jesus came from Nazaret of Galilee, and he was plunged by John in the Jordan, 1.10 and immediately he came up out of the water, he saw the heavens open, and the Spirit coming down on him like a dove, 1.11 and a voice came from Heaven - “You are my Son, loved unconditionally. I am well pleased with you,” 1.12 and immediately the Spirit drove him into the wilderness, 1.13 and he was there in the wilderness for forty days, tempted by satan, and he was with the wild beasts, and the messengers served him.
John 1:1-5
1.1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was toward God, and God was the Word. 1.2 He
was in the beginning with God. 1.3 All things were created by him, and nothing that was created was
created apart from him. 1.4 In him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men, 1.5 and the Light shines in
darkness, and the darkness did not take it.
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
15.1 So, brothers, I am making known to you the Good News Message I
preached to you, that you also received - and you are standing in this, 15.2 You are rescued through
this, too, if you keep in memory what I preached to you, unless you have had empty faith, 15.3 because
I handed on to you first of all what I also received, how Anointed died for our falling short, according
to the scriptures, 15.4 and how he was buried, and how he rose again the Third Day, according to the
scriptures, 15.5 and how he was seen by Cefas, then one of the twelve. 15.6 After that, he was seen by
above five hundred brothers at once - the greater part of them are staying until now, but some have
fallen asleep. 15.7 After that, he was seen by Jacob, then by all the sent-ones, 15.8 and last of all, he
was seen by me too - just as if I was an abortion -
