Matthew 6:9-13
9 You, therefore, pray in this manner: Our Father which art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; 10 Thy reign come; Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. 11 Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 12 And let us not be led into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. 13 For Thine is the reign, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Mark 1:9-13
9 Now, it happened in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan. 10 And just as he was coming up from the water, he saw the heavens parting, and the Spirit coming down upon him like a dove. 11 And a voice came out of the heavens, saying, "You are my beloved Son; in you I am well pleased."
12 And immediately the Spirit led him out in the desert; 13 and he was in the desert forty days, during which he was tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, but the angels were ministering to him.
Luke 23:39-43
39 One of the criminals who was hanged, blasphemed him, saying "Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us." 40 The other replying, rebuked him, saying, " Are you not even afraid of God, seeing that you are under the same sentence? 41 We are indeed sentenced justly, because we are getting what we deserve for our deeds; but he has done nothing wrong." 42 Then he said to Jesus, "Remember me Lord, when you come into your kingdom." 43 And Jesus said to him, "I tell you truly, today you will be with me in paradise."
John 1:1-5
1 In the beginning was the Logos, and the Logos was according to God, and the Logos was Theos. 2 He was with God from the beginning. 3 Everything was made through him, and without him not a thing was made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light is shining in the darkness, but the darkness has not apprehended it.
