Mark 1:9-13
9Now it occurred during those days, that Yesu ["Yehweh-Savior"*] came from Nazareth in Galilee, and was immersed in the Jordan River by John. 10The immediately as He stepped up out of the water, He noticed the heavens split, and the Spirit descended upon Him like a dove. 11Then a voice came out of the heavens, "You are My dearly loved Son, with whom I am delighted."
12The immediately the Spirit put Him out into the wasteland, 13and He was in the wasteland for forty days undergoing testing by Satan ["the Adversary"]; and He was with the wild beasts, and Messengers were waiting on Him.
- "Yehweh" was God's name in the Old Contract Writings.
John 1:1-5
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was face to face with God, and the Word represented God. 2He was face to face with God in the beginning. 3Everything came into being through Him; and apart from Him not even one thing came into being, that has come into being. 4It was by Him that life began to exist, and the Life was the Light of humans. 5So the Light is continually appearing in the darkness; and the darkness hasn't grabbed hold of it.
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
1Now I want to remind you+, brothers and sisters, about the Good Message which I brought to you+, which also you+ accepted, in which also you+ have taken a stand, 2and through which also you+ are going to saved [ from Destruction ], if you+ are continually holding on to the word that I brought to you+ as the Good Message, unless your+ faith was just an image. 3 For I delivered over to you+ among those first things, what I also had accepted, that the Anointed One died for the things that we have done that are wrong, in accordance with the Writings [Psa. 22; Isa. 53; Dan. 9:26; Zec. 12:10, 13:7], 4 that He was buried, that He was awakened on the third day in accordance with the Writings [Psa. 16:10; Isa 53:10; Hos 6:2], 5and that he was seen by Cephas [ Peter ], and then by the Twelve. 6Then after that, He was seen by over five hundred brothers and sisters at one time, the majority of whom are still alive even until now, yet some have fallen asleep [ died ]. 7The after that, He was seen by James, and after this by all the dispatched envoys. 8Yet, last of all, He was seen also by me, like a premature, dead-born baby.
