Genesis 12:1-5
1Now the LORD spoke to Abram, saying, "Get yourself out of your country, away from your family and from your father's house to the land that I will show you; 2and I will make from you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great; and you will be a blessing. 3And I will bless those who bless you, and curse him who curses you; and in you will all the families of the earth be blessed."
4So Abram went, as the LORD had spoken to him; and his nephew Lot went with him; and Abram was 75 years old when he left Haran. 5And Abram took his wife Sarai, and his brother's son Lot, along with all their belongings which they had gathered, and the people they had acquired in Haran; and they left Haran to go to the land of Canaan, and they arrived in the land of Canaan.
