Genesis 12:1-5

1Now Yahweh said unto Abram, Get you out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father's house, unto the land that I will show you: 2and I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and I will bless them that bless you, and him that curses you will I curse: and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed. So, Abram went, as Yahweh had spoken unto him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran. 5And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother's son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and all the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

Psalm 23

1Yahweh is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He heads me beside still waters.
3He restores my soul:
He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; for you are with me;
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies:
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
6Surely goodness and lovingkindness shall follow me all the days of my life;
And I shall dwell in the house of Yahweh forever.

Isaiah 55:1-3

1Ho, every one that thirsts, come to the waters, and he that has no money; come, buy, and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. 2Why do you spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfies not? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. 3Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Mark 1:9-13

9And it came to pass in those days, that Yahshua came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was immersed of John in the Jordan. 10And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens rent asunder, and the Spirit as a dove descending upon him: 11and a voice came out of the heavens, You are my beloved Son, in you I am well pleased.
12And immediately the Spirit sent him out into the wilderness. 13And he was in the wilderness forty days tempted of Satan; and he was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered to him.

John 1:1-5

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Yahweh, and the Word was Elohim. 2The same was in the beginning with Yahweh. 3All things were made through him; and without him was not anything made that has been made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shines in the darkness; and the darkness could not master it.

1 Corinthians 15:1-8

1Now I make known to you, brethren, the good tidings which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, 2by which also you are saved, if you hold fast to the word which I preached to you, except you believed in vain. 3For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that the Messiah died for our sins according to the scriptures: 4and that he was buried; and that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures; 5and that he appeared to Cepha; then to the twelve; 6then he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; 7then he appeared to Jacob; then to all the apostles; 8and last of all, as to the untimely born child, he also appeared to me.
