⁵ Who is coming out of the desert wilderness,
leaning on her lover?

Under the apple tree I aroused you
and you woke to me
where your mother was in labor,
where she who bore you was in labor.

⁶ Set me as a seal on your heart,
as a seal on your arm,
for love is strong as death.
Jealousy is cruel as the grave.
Its flashes are flashes of fire,
a flame of God.
⁷ Many waters cannot quench love,
rivers cannot drown it.
If a man measured love
by all the wealth of his house,
he would be utterly scorned.

¹³ I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first
and the last, the beginning and the end.
¹⁴ Blessed are they who are washing their robes
so they will have the right to the tree of life
and can enter the city through the gates.
¹⁵ Outside will be the dogs and sorcerers
and copulators and murderers and idolators
and everyone who loves to practice lies.

¹⁶ I Yehua sent my angel to you
to witness these things to you for the churches.
I am the root and offspring of David
¹⁷ the bright star of morning. And the spirit
and bride say, `Come.´ Let you who hear say, `Come.´
Let you who thirst come, and let you who wish

¹⁸ I give testimony to all who hear

If anyone adds to these, then God will add
to them the plagues recorded in this book.

of this book´s prophecy, God will cut off
their share of the tree of life and the holy
city, those things recorded in this book.
²⁰ And he who witnesses all these things says,
“Yes, I am coming soon.“

With you I am well pleased.

¹Brothers, I remind you of the good news,

With frivolity. ³To you I handed on,
Of supreme range, the news that I received:
The Mashiah died for our sins, as it's said
In Yeshayahu, ⁴and he was buried and rose
On the third day, as said in Yeshayahu,
⁵And seen by Kefa, and then by the twelve.

Witnessing the Mashiah

⁶Later he was seen by more than five hundred
Brothers at once, of whom most of them
Are still alive, but some have gone to sleep.
⁷And then he was seen by Yaakov and all
The messengers. ⁸And last of all he was seen
By me who was an aborted child.
