Psalm 23
23:1-6 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul. He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. 4 Yes, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For you are with me. Your rod and your staff comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil. My cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Mark 1:9-13
9 Now it came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan river.
10 Immediately after coming up out of the water, He saw the heavens opened and the Spirit descending like a dove upon Himself.
11 And there came a voice from heaven saying: You are my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased.
12 Then immediately after that the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.
13 He was there in the wilderness forty days tempted by Satan. And He was with the wild beasts. And the angels ministered to Him.
John 1:1-5
1 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. Genesis 1:1
2 He was, in the very beginning, with God.
3 Everything came into existence through Him. Without Him nothing would have come into existence.
4 In Him was life and the life was the light of men.
5 The light shines in darkness and the darkness does not overtake it.
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
1 Family, I now declare to you the Gospel that I have already proclaimed to you and which you have received and in which you stand
2 and by which you are also being saved, if you keep in memory what I have proclaimed to you, unless you have believed in vain. Psalm 119:11
3 For I delivered to you first of all what I also received: That Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, Isaiah 53:5
4 that He was buried and that He rose again the third day, according to the Scriptures, Psalm 68:18
5 that He was seen by Cephas and then by the twelve.
6 After that, He was seen by more than five hundred of the family at once, of whom the greater part remain to this present time. But some have fallen asleep.
7 After that, He was seen by James and then by all the apostles.
8 Last of all, He was seen by me also, as one unnaturally born.
