Mark 1:9-13
1:9 And it came to pass in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John at the Jordan; 1:10 and immediately coming up from the water, he saw the heavens dividing, and the Spirit as a dove coming down upon him; 1:11 and a voice came out of the heavens, ‘You are My Son — the Beloved, in whom I did delight.’
1:12 And immediately does the Spirit put him forth to the wilderness, 1:13 and he was there in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by the Adversary, and he was with the beasts, and the messengers were ministering to him.
John 1:1-5
1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God; 1:2 this one was in the beginning with God; 1:3 all things through him did happen, and without him happened not even one thing that has happened.
1:4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men, 1:5 and the light in the darkness did shine, and the darkness did not perceive it.
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
15:1 And I make known to you, brethren, the good news that I proclaimed to you, which also you did receive, in which also you have stood, 15:2 through which also you are being saved, in what words I proclaimed good news to you, if you hold fast, except you did believe in vain, 15:3 for I delivered to you first, what also I did receive, that Christ died for our sins, according to the Writings, 15:4 and that he was buried, and that he has risen on the third day, according to the Writings, 15:5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve, 15:6 afterwards he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain till now, and certain also did fall asleep; 15:7 afterwards he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
15:8 And last of all — as to the untimely birth — he appeared also to me,
