The two translation by Jay E. Adams are very similar. The passages from Mark and John are identical in the both versions; and, the passage from 1 Corinthians only differs by a few words between the two translations.

Mark 1:9-13

⁹And so it happened that in those days Jesus came fro Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John at the Jordan.
¹⁰And as soon as He came up from the water He saw the heavens split apart, and the Spirit coming down upon Him like a dove.

¹²Next, the Spirit led Him out into the desert,
¹³and He was in the desert forty days being tested by Satan; and He was with the wild animals, and angels took care of Him.

John 1:1-5

¹At the beginning, the Word already existed, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
²He was in the beginning with God.
³Everything came into being through Him, and without him not one thing came into being.
⁴In Him was life, and life was the Light of human beings.
⁵And the Light is shining in the darkness and the darkness hasn't suppressed it.

II Peter 3:10-15

Proverbs 8: 22-29
