Comments: The first edition (cited by Hills) was printed at the Norwood Press. J.S. Cushing Co. - Berwick & Smith Co. Norwood, Mass. U.S.A. Also, the note at John 5:3 is not present in the first edition. In later editions the note reads: Other ancient authorities insert, wholly or in part, waiting for the moving of the water; ⁴for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool, and troubles the water; whoever stepped in first after the troubling of the water was healed of whatever disease he had.
