Comments This is a curious edition published in two octavo volumes. It is usually identified as part of the Haydock series since the Haydock brothers are mentioned on the title page. However, the extended Haydock annotations are not included. Despite its claims to being "corrected" it is replete with printer's errors, including the egregious "fornications" in place of "fortifications" in II Corinthians 10:4. Although the folio edition had sold well, Thomas Haydock lost money through acquisitive employees and an unscrupulous lender. To complete the second volume of this less ambitious edition in 1824, he had to take on partners.
