Concordant Version

The Concordant Version is based on the principle that “every word in the original should have its own English equivalent.” The New Testament includes a Greek text with an ultraliteral English translation in the sublinear. The New Testament was originally published in parts between 1919 and 1926.

Comments: (From the Introduction) "This present edition of HEBREW SCRIPTURES STUDY SHEETS for JEREMIAH and LAMENTATIONS is a facsimile reproduction of typewritten copy. It was originally prepared on half sheets by our late Brother E.H. Clayton of Sheffield, England, for the use of the typesetter. However, in view of the expense involved and the expected time before a printed edition could be prepared, and in view of the careful work done on this copy, it is felt that a limited edition of these facsimile sheets would be warranted."
