Julian G Anderson (b. 1916) was a Lutheran pastor and seminary professor. In 1975 he self-published The Good News & How It Spread The Gospel of Luke and The Book of Acts in Everyday American English and the complete New Testament into simple Everyday American English in 1984. Revised versions of the New Testament were published in 1989 and 1990. Asterisks throughout the text direct the reader to a series of notes and comments at the end of the book. In the 1984 edition the books are arranged in their presumed chronological order. In the 1990 edition the books are arranged in the traditional order.
